Sponsored by Suzhou Institute of Artificial Intelligence of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) under the support of the Administrative Committee of Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District, an event was held in Angu-Ching Leung Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Park in SIP on June 18, aimed at facilitating use of artificial intelligence (AI) and embodied artificial intelligence (EAI) technologies to promote digitalization of manufacturing.

Representatives from about 60 organizations including higher education institutions such as SJTU and manufacturing enterprises such as Bosch Auto Parts (Suzhou) Co Ltd participated in the event.

Song Li, a professor at SJTU, He Fenghua, an executive at JAKA Robotics, Xu Liang, a senior advisor at SJTU Suzhou Institute of Artificial Intelligence - Angu-Ching Leung Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Park Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center, and Wang Yonggui, vice president of Ecovacs Group Innovation Model Research Institute, gave the participants talks resolving around AI technology, industrial robotics, application of digital technologies in manufacturing, and other topics.
