The SIP leg of the 2025 “Win in Suzhou, Win the Future” Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs was held on June 10, gathering 11 projects featuring breakthroughs in core technologies in key fields.

The contest is aimed at setting up a platform for communication with overseas high-caliber talents to promote cooperation in technology, capital, industry and marketing and attract high-quality projects to SIP.

The contest embraces projects focused on advanced technologies such as those in strategic emerging industries. All the participants were from overseas, with over 70% holding doctoral degrees.

In the competition, each project team has six minutes to present their project, and four minutes to answer the judges’ questions, and the evaluation took two minutes. The judges gave scores to the projects based on the performance of the project team, market prospect of the project, technology evaluation, possibilities of being carried out in SIP, feasibility of business model, and financing plan.

After fierce competition, six projects won the top three places. Of them, the integrated intelligent sensing system combining perception, storage and computation based on the third-generation spiking neural network (SNN) garnered the top prize.
